Glossary of Terms
Rental – Agreement to pay for temporary use of a computer, laptop, tablet PC, or any other computing equipment owned by iPadrental.ca.
Lease– Lease is contract where the client agrees to pay a specific amount as rent, on a timely basis (monthly, weekly, yearly), for renting the computing equipment for a specified period of time.
Rental Service / Rental Company – The company, in this case iPadrental.ca, offering computing products for hire or on lease.
Clients/Customers – All individuals, businesses and other entities which enter into an agreement with iPadrental.ca for renting or leasing its computing equipment.
Technical Specialist/Support – Employee/employees or partners of iPadrental.ca, who specialize in installation, use and repair of technical/computing equipment offered on rent or lease.
Rental/Lease Start Date – Exact date when the rental or lease contract for the equipment comes into force and when the equipment is handed over to the customer for temporary use.
Rental/Lease End Date – Exact date when the rental or lease contract for the equipment ends, and when the equipment should be returned by the customer.
Extension – Extending the rental or lease end date by a certain number of days by payment of additional rental amount by the client.
Price– The rent or fee charged by iPadrental.ca for permitting the clients to use the said computing equipment for a specified period of time.
Quote – Estimated/approximated price that the customer has to pay to iPadrental.ca for using a computer, tablet, or other computing equipment for a specified period of time.
